Endacopia Chapter 2 Walkthrough
Endacopia Chapter 2 Timesville walkthrough: how the clock mechanic works, the full main route, the fishing side quest, and the Metal Detector finale.
Timesville is the area most players search for by name, and Chapter 2 is where Endacopia's puzzle design gets genuinely mechanical: nearly every gate in the town runs through one clock idea, and once that idea clicks, the chapter stops being cryptic. This page covers the clock mechanic, the full main route, the traps that waste players' time, and the fishing side quest — optional here, but with a payoff that matters much later.

Timesville, in Context
A seemingly utopian village of adorable animal civilians, with a clock plastered above almost every doorway. The town's mayor is the overworked Mirianne, conversations update as the time of day shifts, and the whole place sits farthest down on the hub world. It's also where the game's dread concentrates: Timesville is where Mellow's missing eyes were at the start of the game, and the area's final boss is The Chameleon. The cast — who's who and what their dialogue cycles look like — is on the characters page.
The Timesville Clock Mechanic, Explained
Learn this once and the chapter's doors stop being riddles:
Spoiler — how the Timesville clock works
- Every clock has 6 intervals — 3 for daytime, 3 for dusk.
- Time moves one interval counter-clockwise each time Mellow enters a building. Entering advances time; exiting does nothing.
- Practical use: if an NPC, shop, or event needs dusk, deliberately step in and out of buildings to burn intervals. If a daytime-only interaction is about to slip away, stop entering buildings and finish it first.
Chapter 2 Main Route
Spoiler — Chapter 2 full route
- Work the town's buildings using the clock mechanic above. Entering a building is the only thing that moves time, so treat doorways as your turn-crank.
- Re-talk to villagers after every shift. Dialogue updates as the clock moves — re-talking after burning intervals is how the chapter actually progresses.
- Manage dusk deliberately: dusk-gated events are reached by burning intervals; day-gated ones must be done before you over-turn the clock.
- The chapter closes with Timesville shutting down. When the town closes, head back to the Circus.
- At the Circus, use the Metal Detector to locate the main boss — that discovery is the bridge into Chapter 3.

Common Mistakes in Timesville
- Burning intervals by accident. Every building entry costs a sixth of a day. Pop into a house “just to check” three times and your dusk event is gone.
- Skipping the re-talk. The clock changes what people say; a villager with nothing for you at noon may carry the whole next beat at dusk.
- Doing day-only tasks too late. If something needs daylight, finish it before you start cranking buildings toward dusk.
- Leaving town without a final sweep. Once Timesville shuts down it stays shut — anything you didn't click is clicked never. (Several achievements live in exactly these windows.)
Optional: Fishing in Timesville
Fishing is easy to dismiss as flavor, but it's the town's one genuine side quest — and its real payoff belongs to a much later route.

Spoiler — how fishing works & why it matters
- There are 18 fish in total, with 3 exclusive to each hour cycle — you'll need to advance time (the clock mechanic above) to catch them all.
- Catching all 18 unlocks the I Want To Be A Fisherman achievement.
- It also feeds the secret route: using the Metal Detector on the beach's sand turns up Fish Paper, which yields the Old Key. What the key opens is part of the Ending C route — that page has the full chain.
