The Trapezist in Endacopia
The Trapezist in Endacopia: Misery Town’s ringleader and final boss — her look, personality, the circus fight, and how to skip it. Community-sourced.
Community-sourced — this profile comes from the community wiki and public playthroughs. Our verified layer only goes as far as “the Circus area, its boss located by the Metal Detector”; everything below names that boss and fills her in.
Who Is the Trapezist?
“Dance, Monkey, Dance!”
The Trapezist is the final boss and ringleader of Misery Town — the community's name for the game's Circus area. She runs the show and heads the bill, and her introduction doubles as her philosophy: the audience performs for her. If you've read our Chapter 2 walkthrough, she's the destination of its finale — the “main boss” the Metal Detector locates after Timesville closes.
What She Looks Like
A clown in a strict yellow-and-pink palette: a white-and-yellow body, pink sclera, and two large yellow hair buns. The outfit is legitimate trapeze-artist couture — stretch leggings, an intricate pink-and-yellow vest, a high-waisted miniskirt — plus a pink bowler hat, a multicolored pink-and-yellow ruff, and delicate yellow ballet shoes. She is the most deliberately designed thing in her town, and she knows it.
Personality
A high-and-mighty performer who delights in the misery of those below her, needs to be the center of attention, and blames her shrinking audience on Mellow's lackluster circus performance — not on herself. The community reads one more layer: her achievement image shows her expressing something like remorse, and players report she's especially saddened when her battle is skipped. Under the sadism there's a hint of a tragic backstory the game never fully unfolds.
The Boss Fight
The Test
Before she'll fight you, she makes you earn the cannon — an elaborate routine, each act starting when the last one lands:
Spoiler — the circus routine inputs
- Tightrope: press
W,A, orDas needed to stay balanced. - Ball balance: alternate
AandDto roll toward the hoop. - The hoop: spam
Wto jump through, landing on a trampoline. - High jump: press
Spacewhen the charge bar peaks; you land on a unicycle. - The unicycle: alternate
WandSto ride to the cannon.
From the cannon you reach her tightrope, talk once — and the fight begins.
The Fight Itself
Spoiler — Trapezist fight mechanics
- She kicks purple gymnastic balls, three at a time, which you can block or punch back.
- Punching at least 3 balls sends them flying upward — they strike her when she stops to taunt. She cannot be punched directly; balls are the only damage.
- Three hits trigger phase two, where more than three balls arrive before each taunt. Three more hits end it — she falls head-first into the ground.
- Stamina struggling? Block after punching one ball in each direction (left, right, center) — three landed punches guarantee the damage.
Skipping the Fight Entirely
Spoiler — how to skip the Trapezist fight
Tip mentioned something about sharp objects, didn't he? After finishing the circus routine, use the scalpel to cut the tightrope — the fight ends without a battle. It's much faster, speedrunners use it, and it grants the Fatal Performance achievement on Steam.
